Introduction:

The China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Qingdao Liaison Office Shandong (herein after refered to as Qingdao Liaison Office) was founded in June, 2005, is a professional arbitration and information organization of the China International Economic Trade Arbitration Commission , it is led directly by  the Chinese International Economic Trade Arbitration Commission Shandong office in  business. The Qingdao Liaison Office persisted a principle of "Efficiency, Quality, Justice" , provides the arbitration and related related law service for the Chinese and foreign parties. 

Scope of Jurisdiction:  

The CIETA Resolves by means of arbitration disputes arising from economic and trade transactions of a contractual or non-contractual natruae. These disputes include: 

n         Universal and International

n         Independent and Imparital

n         international or foreign-related disputes;

n         disputes related to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or the Macao Spcial Administrative Region or the Taiwan region;and

n         domestic disputes.

Model Arbitration Clause:  

  "Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Contract shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for arbitration which shall be conducted in accordance with the Commission's arbitration rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The arbitral award is final and bingding upon both parties."

The parties may also stipulate the place of arbitration and/or hearing, for example, the parties  may choose Qingdao as the hearing place.
